You need to know that Glen performed more wrote songs. He was known for singing Jimmy Webb songs and as part of "the wrecking crew", Glen played guitar on most hit songs of the 60's and 70's Then came the Glen Campbell Goodtine Hour tv Summer replacement show of the Smothers Brothers show on CBS. It was Glens vocal interpretation of dozens of songs that made then hits. A great vocalist and top guitarist were a combination that propelled Glen to the top of thr music industry. Later his stint with the Beach Boys and touring the world with his hits gave Glen super star status.

The irony is him saying that Billie is exceptional (she is) while in the same sentence saying that she COWRITES her songs with her brother. Then claiming he doesn't understand what co-writing is...

should be more respectful of June Carter and Willie Nelson. All the people on the set with Glenn were themselves, fabulous performers.

Awesome review… I have a Yamaha PAC012 in Red, Yamaha gig bag with a Yamaha THR5 amp in a semi-truck… great combo to just play in my small confines. Also, you can send the guitar back to Sweetwater (at Sweetwater’s expense) or your local music store if that’s where you bought it and they’ll repair that plug issue. If you have any soldering experience, that is an easy repair or spend $5 and get a very nice upgrade socket. That other complaint is easily rectified too… if you know what you’re doing or spend the money and have it setup properly by a luthier. Getting it right makes a huge difference early on learning to play and practice. Yes mines a keeper to be passed on someday to an aspiring beginner.

Dude, sitting in the audience watching Glen was Roy Clark and Chet Atkins. Both hella guitar players. When you have these two guys in awe, you have really accomplished something.

The original video is what got me into playing guitar in the first place and coming from those early stages of learning his piece to now playing my own pieces and performing with big names on tour, I’d say it does deserve the popularity it’s gotten as an awesome sounding bit of music that almost anyone can play with a bit a practice to get into the musician world.

You ought to try finding him playing fiddle with a boy named Jimmy, as well as Ghost Riders in the sky with Glen Campbell.

He has nth to do with playing the guitar. He just put a show for a bunch of ignorant friends. What he introduced actually was an utter musical disaster.

Heard a story on an old AM station back in the day. Old woman kept calling a DJ asking him to play "It's Snowing" by Glen Campbell. DJ looks all over and couldn't find the song. Then one day he's playing Gentle on My Mind and the old lady calls back...THATS THE SONG! Turned out the first words of the song are "it's knowing" not "Its snowing."

You should react to a young guy called Akstar. He’s a professional guitarist and even has an academy where he teaches how to play a guitar. He is pranking people pretending to be a beginner guitarist and after showing his real talent. Here’s a link of one of his videos. i got mine 3 days ago the black & white ... i like it. it plays very smooth.. like the maple neck and i have not to much knowledge guitars but based on reviews im happy with the choice of pacifica i do have a weird buzz i first had it with rhe low e and a strings.. but after stretching the strings now it works but i cant tube half step down because then igot it again.. very ugly sound, you hear it on the back of the body and sounds like paper or plastic between a bicycle weel or something.. (i think its something with settings that has to be adjusted) but have to see a guitar shop i dont know those things yet.. my strings are very low, thought maybe to low and that thats the problem..
